Michigan Builders License Test - Michigan Construction Career Authority The LAW/BUSINESS test is still 50 questions and you get 75 minutes to complete it on the computer. The PRACTICAL test has changed completely, different breakdown and more questions. There is now 100 questions and they give you 150 minutes to do the PRACTICAL TEST on the computer. Both tests may have from 5 to 10 extra questions that they are trying out these do not count for you or against you but they are not indenified from the other question. We have completed and have available for you all this new information. We are able to do this because unlike the other companies we maintain a 40 hour staff devoted to strickly to update our material. We never recommend anyone take the Contractors Exam. When you take the Michigan Residental Builders License Test you can work in all 14 trades that the M&A contractors can work in. Also if you have a Builders License and you want to Sell for another Builder all you have to do is apply for a Salespersons License, you do not have to take the sales persons Test.
